Congratulations to Dr Monica Acosta for being awarded a prize in last year’s Biomedical Imaging Research Unit’s annual competition. The awards were presented at the BIRU end-of-year Research Celebration held on Thursday 23 November 2017.

Monica won a Patriot Award for her image titled: ‘An incomplete sagittal MRI scan of a New Zealander’s head’ (shown in the photo above).
