Welcome to the second issue of the SOVS newsletter for 2018. We have just completed Orientation and wish all our students the very best for their studies during the coming year.
A warm welcome to Zaria Burden who has started as a Professional Teaching Fellow. Zaria may be a familiar face to some of you as she graduated from SOVS in 2013 and we are delighted to welcome her back.
A couple of significant events coming up in March. We are looking forward to seeing our students’ presentations at the annual NZ-NEC Symposium on March 2nd. The practice talks have highlighted the impressive range of projects and the hard work of students and staff alike. Another one for your calendar is the FMHS 50th Anniversary Open Day on Saturday March 17. We hope to see as many of you as possible there to help showcase teaching and research to the public.
