Following the success of the inaugural conference in 2017, we are excited to present a 1-day conference on Sunday, 29 July 2018.
Keynote speakers:
Dr Jack Phu – “Reconciling the structure-function relationship in disease diagnosis: clinical applications from laboratory studies.”
Dr Phu is currently the Glaucoma Lead Clinician at the Centre for Eye Health, UNSW. He’s involved in teaching ocular diseases, ocular therapeutics, clinical optometry and visual neuroscience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has published papers and presented at conferences in the area of glaucoma and visual psychophysics, for which he has been awarded numerous travel grants and the Optometric Glaucoma Society Ezell Fellowship in 2016.
Dr Angelica Ly – “Mulling over the macula with multimodal imaging.”
As Integrated Care Coordinator and a Principal Staff Optometrist at the Centre for Eye Health, UNSW. Dr Ly is a member of the Optometry NSW/ACT council and clinical council of the Central Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network. As well as presenting at ARVO and Australian based optometry conferences and events, Dr Ly is also involved in teaching ocular diseases as a lecturer and tutor, clinical supervisor, and research project supervisor.
