The Latin American Training Program (LATP) was held at the Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile from 25 August – 27 September 2018. The theme was “From molecules to behaviour – the quest for new treatments of neuropathologies” and the conference was attended by various researchers from the South American region.
SOVS Senior Lecturer Dr Monica Acosta was invited to present two talks, “The neurochemistry of vision in normal and diseased eyes” and “The retina as an earlier biomarker of degeneration: Some case studies.”
