Associate Professor Jacqueline Ramke, who was profiled in our last newsletter here, has been awarded an Emerging Researcher First Grant from the Health Research Council (HRC).
The risk of developing diabetic retinopathy or vision loss is high for everyone with diabetes. Jacqui, a world authority in equity and eye health, is researching strategies to improve access to diabetes eye care services for vulnerable Māori, Pacific and young adult diabetes sufferers.
