We are dedicated to not only producing high quality, research-literate graduates but to also improving the health of all New Zealanders by focusing on the best use of medicines in our society. We believe that theory along with practical education helps better prepare our students for their careers as pharmacists in a variety of settings.
Since our establishment in 2000, we have set up world class postgraduate programmes* offering Research Masters and PhD students the opportunity to work with, and learn from, experts in their field. Our academic staff have also been successful in bringing in research funding from national and international sources and have significant research collaborations throughout New Zealand and overseas.
